Can art be political? Of course; in the vast majority of cases it is and it works. Other times it tends to be a corny manifestation of the selective indignation of opportunists and useful idiots in the service of hypocritical and outdated demagogues; the same ones who steal and lie in the name of the "people" or "democracy".
This ugly illustration is not intended to be political, it is a personal representation of the fear of nuclear war with which they threaten us every day. Whether initiated by Putin or any other tyrant willing to unleash genocide in the name of peace and deterrence. I really hope this just stays as a dark fantasy concept; let it be just that and nothing more. Hopefully diplomacy and common sense prevail in the face of horror and violence.
